Damn Online Scammers

I had this happen a few years ago when I went to sell my Wrangler - same situation but for a lot more money. Course I didn't bite and I even called the local FBI office but they said there are too many scams to even bother going after them.
Now low and behold I go to sell my new front end replacement on Craigslist.com and another of these turds e-mail me.

Thanks for your quick response, i will be buying the NEW '05 SuperDuty/F250 Front End Replacement, i will like to tell you that i will be paying with a certified check in us dollars and as for the shippment my shipper will come for the pick up at your doorstep upon your confirmation of receiving the payment. I dont want you to look for any other buyer please, i would have love to come down and see it for my self am not chanced to do that now but am satisfied with your description of the item and i beleive i can trust you with that. I will like you to give me the following so that your payment can be sent out immediately:
1....your full name to be on the check
2....your full contact address to send the payment to
3....your zip code
4....your mobile and land nunmber to reach you.
I will be expecting that asap. So once you get back to me with your details, the payment will now be prepared and sent to you in your name and address so that you can be able to have your own money and just to let you know that it is my Client that will issue the check to you with the amount of shipper funds, so once you have the check and then cash it you will have to send the remaining excess funds back to the shipper through western union money transfer and after sending it, we will arrange the pick-up time. I also want you to deduct $50 as your compensation for running around to send the shipper's fund.
Finally you must get back to me as soon as you receive the check so that i can forward the shipper's information to you. Thanks for the understanding.

A certified check would be wonderful, I will gladly accept it for payment. One can never be too careful these day's so a check would be most welcomed. I will not look to any other buyer as you seem to be a very honest and religious person as am I.

For the record the # and address are the local Houston FBI office. Maybe he'll give them a call. If not and and him being a foreigner and not familiar with "Richard Cranium" I'm sure the FBI will be getting an interesting check in the mail.

Alan man that crap is crazy,, we had that happen to us, they accutally sent the check,, like $32k what did they think we were going to do load the bike, heck they didnt even send the truck,, so we took the check to the bank manager and he called the FBI, check was from some bank in New York, with the wrong routing #'s, but the scam was started like in freckin Africa,, WTH,, cant believe people really fall for that chit oooo and the new smiles are great!!
