Anyone know anything about tractors? I'm looking at trading my 03 F250 for a ford 250c 4wd 54hp with a loader and a couple of attachments. A couple people think its a good trade, a couple don't. I don't know anything about tractors. I do know that one would be helpful on my three acres with the mowing and fence building and general cleanup of the property. Any insight would be great. BTW, tractor has 1700 hrs, and new tires. I'm going to check it out on Sunday. Thanks, David

I dont know much about ford tractors, but depending on the attachments its prlly worth 10k-15k. IMO a 54hp tractor on 3 acres is overkill. We have a JD 4110 (20hp) with a bucket and bush hog for our 3 acres and its plenty big. Also use it quite at bit at my buddys pig farm and I twitch logs with it for fire wood. hrs i wouldnt be to conserned with if its well maintained. Hopefully you have another truck to haul it with if something happens
