Beer shortage?
On my way home tonight while fighting the wind the radio station we listen do brought up this fact. What they also added on was that the price for Hops has gone up from $3.00 to $20.00 per pound. What they are adding is that in about 9 to 12 months we the "consumers" will be faced with an increase in price for beer. Malt's and micro type will go up a minimum of $1.00 per six pack and for those that drink Natty Light, Old Milwakee, etc will be facing at least a $0.50 price increase. They are blaming the fact that farmers can get more money for corn to make ethanol. Hmmmmm
