One for the road!!!

Well this is the first business trip with the new Cellular Aircard, so I am typing from the road as we speak .... My friend is driving ...... I like this .. the .ORG on the road .... Don't try this at home !!!!

How well is it working? Do you get a constant signal or is it varied by how deep into the boonies you are?? haha. How about speed...fast, slow, "average"?

It is using cellular network .... I am on hwy 59 heading to Houston from Shreveport, LA. I clocked the download speed at my house at 602kbps from dslreports.com .... It is spotty sometimes while moving, but better than nothing .. and eve better than dial up !!!!

Yeah my roomate has one in the barracks. It serves its purpose but when you are used to High speed broadband its pretty darn slow... you are right though, faster than dialup thank god! does dial up even exist anymore?

This one is clocking over 600kbps! That is not slow. That was with a so so connection too.
