Beer List thread

Hey gents i wanted to start this thread for the fact i love beer. I'm not a heavy drinker i just enjoy beer and love to sit down and enjoy a beer or two at night. ive experienced many delicious beers but there are still plenty i haven't. From Micros to imports i want to know them all. If you brew at home write down your favorite recipe (if its not something you'd like to sell in the future). If there is already a forum like this i apologize thought i searched thoroughly. A list of a few of my favorites are

: Ninikas (brewer) Kellerwies from Sierra Nevada, Chimay (trappist) Oat meal stout both from Highland, 1462 from New Belgium brewery, slow elk, moose drool and powder hounds and bobo from big sky brewery. thats just a few

Two of my favorites are Samuel Adams Boston Lagar and Guiness. Got a taste for the Guiness after touring the brewery in Dublin, Ireland in 2004. Nothing like fresh suds from the vat!!

Can't go wrong with Sam or Guinness. u like chocolate bock from Sam Adams? Its my favorite. they also have a coffee brew. both only come out in winter and only can be bought in seasonal packs, unless u have a micro/special beer store.

I love the Guinness extra stout. comon Oregon guys u guys have huge selections of beer

Haven't tried the Chocolate or coffee one - I'll have to look for them and give them a try. Sounds interesting.

Some of my favorite beers are from the Canadian brewer Unibroue minus the spelling they include Maudite, tres pistoles, la fen du monte, all really good dark beers. Plus they are usually 8-11% so a four pack leaves you feeling pretty good.

I think my favorites would have to be anything from Leinenkugels, especially Summer Shandy and Honeyweiss. I also like Spotted Cow and Potosi beers.

Grimbergen (spelling?) had it at a friends wedding. Everyone liked it so much we drank the tap dry. Never have found it though.

Also like dogfish head 120 minute.

heck ya toomuch03 Leinenkugels is the chit. summer shandy is one of my favorite. im a dark beer guy but its a good summer beer. ive been lucky enough to try dogfish, loved it had their chocolate aztec beer ( made with cayenne pepper) and yest from the original brew from thousands of years ago. sadly dogfish doesnt reach to my neck of the woods. where you live schooner662 i live in idaho id assume we would have it here. Anything by rouge is good. Anyone try O'Dell (not the furniture store lol) pretty good beer
