Got to play with a cool toy today!
My brother-in-law and my friend/neighbor who are also friends bought about 5 or 6 acres of land out in the country. They started clearing the lot last night and went through two bobcat T190's in 3 hours. This morning the rental place gave us a Terex (ASV) PT-60 and it is an awesome little skid steer.

no I think he means what did we do to them. The first ones hydraulic line bracket on the arm came loose and got pinched and busted all the lines. The second one ran for about 30 minutes before it lost all hydraulic functions. I don't know what happened to it but they must have come out and fixed it last night. I was running them both today and let me say the Terex wipes the floor with the bobcat.

Oh I guess thats true. I've never used a terex but I have run cat, komatsu, and bobcat and a couple others. I have to say I really like the cat.

Yeah, I meant why weren't they running. Bummer, the Bobcats usually wipe the competition in terms of...um, not breaking down around these parts. I've only run New Holland and Bobcat skid steers but I do enjoy the Bobcats better.

Never used an Asv/terex, I've seen a lot of landscapers around here with them though so it must be a good running skidsteer, I've always loved Case, never had a problem with the 440CTs on the farm
Sent from my DROID BIONIC while wasting time at work... |

The terex had a Perkins diesel and the bob cat had a Kubota

I ran a bobcat with tracks, and with wheels. Anything that size with tracks rocks, with wheels....talk about a ride if your not use to it

first one I ran years ago was an old Gehl 4400 still like the dual joystick no pedal control system over any "Bobcat" control system. CAT is nice, that terex looks interesting. need more pics inside and out.
