The painting processes

I need to learn how to do automotive paint. My dad has all of guns and stuff. I just need to learn the steps. If anyone can explain to me or post a link on how to do this stuff it will be appriciated. I'm talking about from metal preparation to clearcoat.

LOL it's pretty involved and takes a while to master.

I used to work in a body shop and never actually painted... but I saw what went on to prep... and was involved with some of it.

HAHAAH You are gonna be on the phone for six months

Seriously, you better take Chris up on that offer. He should be able to at least get you in the ballpark. But don't give up if your first few attempts aren't "show" quality. Like Maitain said. It takes a lot to master.
