Not about my truck, but about 6.0s in general: "Why don't you turn the fuel up?" "It's a diesel, it has a high pressure fuel pump, not a high pressure oil pump."

Had a group at work, I took out to lunch last summer. 4 guys and myself, one asked "what I was waiting for to start the truck after I turned the key on?" The rest of us looked at him and almost in unison stated it was a diesel.

But you reply, "But it can haul your turd to the dealer when it dies."

I had someone ask me why I had such a big truck and I told them it was my small truck. (See pics below.)

Rolling along slowly in traffic on a Spring day, I was in the left lane - Other guy in the right lane. We were each moving forward as if jockeying for position. First him, then me. When we started moving at a good pace, he yelled out, "Your truck stinks!!" As he pulled away, I grinned and said, "Thanks!"

This winter the fince and I were taking her parents to dinner. They clearly thought my edge CTS was annoying and unnecessary. My future mother in-law asked "Why do you need to know the exhaust gas temp? Is that so you know when you need a new muffler?"

"Something is wrong with your truck, it's smoking". Also "it sounds like your turbo is going out".
