Lack of sleep...

Just thought I would share with my PSD bretheren...

As of right now, 1145EST, I have been awake for 24hrs and 45 mins. I have about another 6+ ish hours until I'll have a chance to put my head to pillow.

I can blame this on a few reasons:
1) Stress. (Getting out of the Navy in 80-ish day, just payed $5000 to fix truck, Navy work crap, yada yada)
2) Video games. (I got Gran Turismo 3 and 4 off of eBay last week and it arrived on Friday. I played it from about 2230 last night till 0500 this morning, 9% completed!!!)
3) Too much rest. (I got up at 1100 yesterday and pretty much did nothing all day. Carried 2 suit cases down stairs, and went to get food with the g/f's Dad...that's about it.)
4) General Worry. (The g/f, along with mother and sister, are currently enroute to St. Thomas for a little vacation...and I'm just hoping for the best...you know.)

At this point, I feel like I'm about to crash. I'm currently being fueled by mutiple sodas and energy drinks. I'm so tired that I don't want to eat...though I am clearly hungry.

Anyone else know how I feel? Ditty need sleepy!!!

Why can't ya sleep right now???

I know how ya feel bud - I woke up at 12:00 on a work day -- went to work at 17:00 - worked till 05:00 -- stayed up because I was now off work for 3 days and had to get house things and yard work and car work done -- didn't go to sleep until 02:00. that was a LOOOOOOOOOONG day! about 38 hours!!!!

Needless to say I was tired for a while after that

Can't sleep now...b/c I'm at work. They frown on that around here. LOL.

And you know how it's going to turn out....I'm going to get off work, get in the truck and I'll be "recharged". I'll get home and "play just one round of races", and I'll be up till 2300 tonight. LOL. I just have to time the caffine intake correctly to where I'm about to fall over as I'm walking into the house. That should get me about 9-10 good hrs of sleep. Given no one calls me. (That's what I hate about the Navy...my cell has to be on 24-7, just in case.)
