Complaint of the day

I don't usually complain or rant often, just wondering if anyone had a day like this?

After work I head up to a cycle shop that sells VP racing fuel to pick up 5 gallons of C12 for the ol' T-bird. Walk in, notice the drums aren't sitting out, ask the guy behind the counter.. "nope, don't have any any VP fuel, be in next week" That sucks, I usually call to make sure they have some but they always do except for this instance.

I have to make another stop at a truck equipment shop/store thats nearby to inquire about some Diesel ELC, and a Baldwin fuel filter for the PSD.

I get to that shop, I see an employee leaving. I walk around to the front door only to find they just closed according to their sign.

Man, it sucks getting off work at 4:30, everything is closed. Wouldn't be a problem if I could get up there faster, but it takes atleast 25 mins sifting through traffic to get to either places.

i have those days alot, traffic gets horrible here. i cant wait to move to northern cali!!!!!

Peter's is always closed by 5 and a few minutes earlier if they can sneak out! If you run into a problem with Dan not having the juice again, Reg Dixon's Service Center behind Forest Hill Lanes usually has a drum or two of racing fuel. I think he has Cam 2.

I thought Peters was open later than 5, all those years up at DMI I swear I still saw people in and out past 5:30 Their sign said they are open for a few hours on Saturday, might try that.

I'll probably bring a container with me tomorrow night and fill up at Cecil.

BTW Matt you interested in hitting up the ol' two laner fun strip tomorrow night? I think Marty will be there, I'll be up there. Eric might come, sorry - forgot about ya!

As I said I'll have AE with me for anyone who wants run some diagnostics.

Peters has always officially closed at 5. Now if Ricky and Randy are both there and the right jabber jaw walks in close to closing time, all bets are off. Saturdays are usually 8-12 with donuts at 8.

I used to know that feeling Dave....This is why I love my job at times...off at 3...and as winter comes, lots of half days!

Doing balljoints on Katie's truck, fuel filter on both hers and mine, and brakes on hers maybe too. After that we're going to Hibachi... Guess I won't make it :-(
