Devastating News... prayers would be appreciated

So, I haven't been on a for a few days and thought i would let everyone know why and ask for you all to keep me in your prayers. Over the last few weeks, my house was getting a brand new roof. The entire thing was pretty much finished about a week ago, except the back patio portion of the house.
Monday evening I was sleeping on the my couch in the living room, (sick), and my girlfriend was sitting in the office on the computer. Our roofer came by the house to finish up the last part of the roof, which he was torching on the modified. Well, apparently he used the torch too long in one spot. He left, and about twenty minutes later my girlfriend heard a car honking loudly outside our house. Before she could stand up, our neighbors were pounding on the front door screaming that the roof was on fire. I attempted to get on top with a fire extinquisher but it was too late, flames were pouring out. 6 fire trucks, 10 cop cars, and 2 ambulances showed up. About 5 hours later, the fire department finally had it put out and i was left with my house destroyed. EVERYTHING. The entire house has to be gutted, new walls, floors, roof, everything you can think of. Thankfully, myself, girlfriend and our dogs made it out okay. If the neighbors hadn't let us know, a little longer and the ceiling would have caved in on me, probably killing me. The insurance company has put us up in a hotel for now and are trying to find us a house to stay in. The said the rebuild could take anywhere from 3 to 4 months.

Prayers would be appreciated so much!!!

Don't even know what to say. Glad that you and your gal are ok. Thoughts and prayers are definetley with you!!! Hope all works out for you guys!!! Can't even imagine that happening. D#@n

Thanks guys... now that all is said and done, all you can do is feel glad that everyone is okay... but that night and the day after, all i could do was sit and focus on everything that was gone......

Sorry - I was just trying to make ya laugh -- I could never imagine what you two are going thru. You are right - the best part is that you all are okay and you had insurance. Man, I just can't even begin to wrap my head around how I would handle that if it happened to me and my family. We are all here for you! If you need ANYTHING, you let us konw - Denver is only a 5-8 hour drive -- heck, as Josh said - we do have a 1 bedroom apartment that is vacant right now in the small town of Ponca City, OK, compared to Denver should you have anyone out this way
