Time for a career change.
After the last few weeks, I've began to despise my job. I've honestly grown sick of customer service/retail and after 7 years of the same thing have decided for a change. Im really looking into the Texas DPS and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it?
Of course i browsed through the website and will be talking to a few local troopers soon, but always open to more opinions. Maybe even suggestions as to what your doing and why you love it? Open to anything right now! But have to keep in mind, I'm getting married in april and have a 2 year old daughter, so nothing too outrageous. Lol. Sent from my DROIDX using AutoGuide.com App |

LE can be very rewarding, can be a big pain in the ***, its not for everyone. Its very hard on a family with small kids. If ya get in stay the hell out of narc work.

Im definitely planning on staying away from the narc section. Was leaning more towards highway patrol.
Currently have the chance for a position in loss prevention at my current store. It would pay pretty well and give me decent hours. Give me a chance to finally get caught back up on my college. Who knows, I may enjoy it. Sent from my DROIDX using AutoGuide.com App |
