OOPS!!! It is funny, although the elderly lady probably didn't think so.

Can't imagine the crap THAT guy's going to get on base! Sailors tend to have a bit of fun with that stuff.

Things have changed since I served in the late 70s. Captain's Mast, restriction to the ship, forfeiture of pay (maybe rank) and sailor's name given to anyone on the ship that was even thinking of having a work party during restriction to the ship. And that was after, they dealt with law enforcement (if it was minor).

Of course, not sure if scaring the bajeebers out of a civilian senior citizen counts as minor.
