Bad Bosses!

I have had a heck of time with bosses over the past year and a half. My last one was an active drug users who barely ever showed up for work, half the time he did he was high and finally was fired after 8 months. My current boss is a micro managing idiot who has no clue what he is doing. Whats your story?

My boss is cool... It's my employees sitting on their asses, not getting done with what I told them to do that's my problem. I'm doing annual reviews next week and if one doesn't straighten his act up, I'll have one less review to do next week.
The sorry sack "emailed in"... A new style of calling in sick where you don't have to make yourself sound pathetic! I realized a task that I figured would take him 1/2 day had been strung out to 2 days and still not done. I started over and knocked it out in 2 hours. Guess that's why I'm the boss.

Emailed in huh? That is retarded. We have to contact our supervisor by 8:30 and it can be by text but we all usually call in anyways. Just how we roll. My boss is so in tuned with what I do, he emails me to do lists of what is bugging him that needs to be done. He has me confused with the personal assistant/secretary wants. Office Manager putz!

I had a boss that was consumed by greed. If we got a little slow he would jack the prices up to compensate. That would run more customers off and he would jack the prices even more. I spent nearly 10 years working for this moron. It came to a head one day when I tried to "enlighten" him as to what our problems were. I say our because any small business is a team effort. This cat flipped out and was ranting and raving about being the boss and how his word was final, etc, etc. He ended his rant with "if you think it is so easy, why don't you go try it".

September 5, 2011 was my 11th year anniversary in business. See @$$hat, I was right, you don't have to screw the customers to keep the doors open.

my boss is cool, i like him. but he is too cheap. he wont fork over the cash for decent things and usually we, his employees, pay the price in labor trying to fix the cheap things that break all the time when we already have enough work to do as it is. its a real pain. i also am underpaid for what i do and thats the thorn in my side but thats every american employee... other than that hes laid back. keeps his cool, runs a tight operation.

Automotive repair.....I would not advise it. Buy a liquor store instead...people drink when they are happy and drink more when they are unhappy. You win either way.

So, bad employee "emails in" again with a bad back that did not come from his cushy sit down IT job knowing I have a hot project for him with a deadline that I'm now doing.
While, good employee calls me this morning to tell me he's going to be late and that I need to find another route to work this morning because a major road to our office is completely closed for an accident investigation. <<<--- I need more guys like this and less of the other.
