I grew up a Metal head and the wife pushed me to country. What are some of the best and worst metal/hair bands you have seen?

Worst.... Poison


Best..... Probably Slayer but Korn is up there also.

DEVILDRIVER. enough said.

Coal chamber (lead singer from devildriver was in this band first)
Chimera
Metallica some of their stuff is good.
Deftones
Mudvaynes older stuff is good.
Disturbed some of their stuff is good
Some of Slipknots stuff is good.

Best: whatever is playing when the radio is turned off.

Worst: Drowning Pool, Disturbed ect

Seen them three times in small clubs. Always a great show, even if it is a farce

I'm dating myself now.

Best show I have seen is a toss up between AC/DC (Fly on the Wall tour '85) and Iron Maiden (Powerslave tour). Both were really good stage shows. Ingvai Malmsteen (I'm sure I butched his name) opened for Maiden that year, must have been '85 or '86.

The absolute worse I have seen was that bunch of yahoos that opened for Blackberry Smoke at Wild Bills back in November. I don't mind the volume, I can't do the distortion.
