And boy is she better than ever! I have to say it was a struggle installing that Stealth system. Yesterday to my surprise I found the front HPOP seal leaking and for the life of me couldnt understand why! Tore it apart today and decided that I would return it back to stock because time isnt on my side this week and I didnt need any more headaches. Installing the Stock HPOP bolts I finally realized why the Stealth had been leaking. One of the bolt holes was stripped!! I don't know how, why, who, what, when, or where it happened cause I took extra care installing that system. Got me a heli-coil set (One of the best things ever invented!!!) fixed the stripped hole and decided what the heck lets put the stealth back in! got her all buttoned up after a few hours, topped off the fluids and cranked her up. Took a little while for her to fire (forgot to plug the main engine harness back in
) and she came to life. Let it warm up and dogged the bejesus out of it. Figured if it's gonna happen it will happen the same way! after several hard laps around the block pulled back into the shop and popped the hood inspecting for leaks. None!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!! Cleaned up my mess (and it was a big one!
) and headed on home. Man it is amazing the difference that thing makes with stock injectors! anything over my stock setting and my clutch slips!! (Southbend Con - O Which I aint too happy about that but thats a different story) and the power doesnt stop anymore. before at about 2500 rpms it would kinda fall off. NO sir this thing pulls hard all through the rpms now!!
Sorry for the long story but I really don't think you could understand how happy I am about this. After sunday I was seriously debating returning it to stock and cutting my losses by selling the thing (stealth system) Gimme a few days and I'll have a good write up about it all!!!!
