turn off email?????

hey my org peps, how the HE## do i shut down getting posts sent to my email?? WOW after a weekend ,cuz i dont hit the puter much, my emails loaded up, i do like it buuuuuuutt, thanks someone!!

Go to user cp, then edit options. Under messeging and notification in blue print it says "default thread subscription mode". Change that to "no email notification".

And that should do it.

I wish the e-mail system would work "properly" I don't know if it's the same for everyone else....but on other forums when someone replies after a post I leave, I get an e-mail for the first reply after that, but no more e-mails for that specific thread until I view it. After I view it, it will send me an e-mail for the next reply after the last post that was viewable in the thread. On here for some reason I get e-mail after e-mail after e-mail for the same thread. For instance I replied in a newbie post to welcome a new member, then exited the thread. A couple of hours later I had at least 10 reply notices from the same thread, and I had not even been in to view it since I left my initial post. I probably had 25-30 e-mails total form psd.org, but the e-mails came from maybe 6 or 8 threads....the rest were all multiple e-mails. Is anyone else getting the same thing??

I've never had this happen. That's kinda' strange.
