concrete stain???

Anyone ever tried this? I need a stain for our bedroom floor, but it already has sheetrock on the walls, so I can't etch it due to the amount of water they say it takes to wash that stuff off. Brickform has a Dye n seal and an acid stain that does not need etching prior to aplication. The conctrete is new, smooth concrete. Any ideas? Suggestions? Warnings?
