Life Questions?
I was setting here thinking about my life and where its been going and where it is now. I would have never thought that this is where i would be in life. Im almost 22 and thought by now i would be done with collage or almost done, And starting a family. Everytime this comes to mind i start to think of this song call best of intentions by Travis Tritt, The words that he says is how i feel. If you havent herd it find it and listen to it. Its gotten to the point that i just want to set there and not do anything, My big sister and i have gotten really close because of this subject. She is 30 and has 3 young kids, and she is divorced so she has some of the same feelings as me.
So my question to yall is did yall figure that you would be where you are in life now? How do you feel about your life, and where its going, and gone. happy? sad? regrets? |

My life is nowhere even close to where I imagined it would be at this point.
There have been some things that are better and others that aren't. I'm doing my best to roll with the changes... and to take one day at a time... hopefully I'll be able to make the future work out. |

I suppose that right about now I'm in as good a place as I thought I should have been in 5 or 10 years ago... That make any sense??? Actually my lifes about as good as I could expect and I'm happy with that. Hasn't always been this way but I'll take it. God has a way I figure that things happen in time and for a reason. I don't pretend to understand it, I just try to roll with it the best I can. I heard it said that life is what happens while you're busy making other plans. Just do the best you can, keep dreaming about tomorrow but don't forget to enjoy today for what it is. I've had times in my life where I've lost someone, didn't get a certain job, etc... But the way I look at it is if that hadn't happened then, I wouldn't be where I'm at now. Its funny how we can look back at life and see how things led us right to where we're at now.

I never would have thought I would be where I am today. I dont have any regrets since there is nothin that can be done about the past except ask for forgiveness for it. I heard it said once that if you have a foot in tomarrow and one in yesterday all youre doin is p!ssing on today. I try to live my life like this is the last day on earth and live it to the fullest. God has a plan for each and every one of us and we are exactly where we are supposed to be right now.
BTW Im only 30 or from your point one of the older guys

Your 22, quit worrying about where you are, and start worrying about where your going, at 22 you are just at the beginning of adulthood, and the fun is just starting, get at it. Anybody can complain about what they have in their life, but you won't get better than you take out of life, you have two arms and two legs that seem to work just fine, a semi active brain, and a nice lady. Your already up on a lot of people. I don't worry about what I don't have, I thank GOD every day for the great things I do have in my life, and everyone should do the same.
