Ok thats it
I don't even know what to say about what I just found out.
An elementary school not far from me, resites the Pledge of Alliegance every morning that makes me happy. But once they get done stating it in English they do it over in Spanish. That really torqs my bolts. I did not have friends die, I did not put my life on the line to have a school resite the Pledge of Alliegance in spanish before school. The last I checked English was the Official language of my be loved Country. If you can not speak it learn it. If you don't want to learn it or speak it then leave and go back to where you came from. I am for schools teaching different languages but this is just down right wrong. |

I agree, go to the school board about it. If they can't learn english, then they can atleast learn the Pledge in English.

that sort of thing is bad around here... in pasco wa. you cant get a job at a fast food resturaunt unless you can fluently speak spanish (the wors part is if you cant fluently speak spanish you cant order food there either LOL) and the school systems in the same tri cities area have chosen spanish as their official language and the american children are required to learn spanish if they want to learn at those schools...

Man what's happening to this country.
I don't mind immigration either... but...tax their dollar like you do mine and make them conform to our ways not us to them and don't have different laws/standards to appease them either. A buddy of mine was told that his daughter would not be allowed to continue in school if he didn't get her shots updated. But he was told that the "non-American" students could not be restricted from school just because they couldn't provide proof of immunization. His taxes pay for that school so I don't need to tell you how po'd he was. Man that's some serious BS. I could go on but just thinking about this PIS*es me off. I've got a job for them; give 'em a gun, send them to Iraq and after 18 mos service then we'll talk citizenship !!!!!!!!! NOT BEFORE ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
