Members Toys/fun Photos Thread

So we don't fill up the introductions thread, let's start a thread where we can share photos of our toys, hobbies, or anything you'd like to share. Although mud is welcome - please keep this thread clean.

Here my toys six months ago - I've since sold the Bike (my last wreck messed me up pretty good) and got rid of my Jeep to buy my PSD.

Here is a 4 wheelin' buddy of mine....needless to say I had to winch him out.

ca~ 2002. Playing at Shooters in Saginaw, MI.

MY MAIN HOBBY. my 96 eagle talon tsi awd.

Wow these past few threads needing pictures of me has realized how few pictures of myself i have.

My other hobby/toy is my camera/photography. kinda hard to take a picture of that though. instead... check out some of the pics taken with it: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/icubby/my_photos

EDIT: rod - what is that thing on the passenger side of your jeep between the sideview mirror and the light. (in the first pic) looks like it could be somecrazy exhaust/intake setup, lol.

That Talon is sweet Harley! I say the picture of you with the nitrous - what's she run in the 1/4 on the bottle?

The thing on my Jeep is a snorkel....nothing like having a beautiful woman pull up beside you in a 4x4 and say "hey I love your snorkel!"......that's a true story.

so it IS an intake! thats awesome! (my moms got a jeep)

The best I've run with the talon is a 13.9 unfortunatly. Ima give it one more try this summer and see if i can get lower 13 second times. The "NOS" you mustve seen in my photo albums was actually an energy drink. lol, I prefer being fed from a turbo rather than a baby-bottle anyhow. :p

I'm looking at getting a 4Wheeler. My new boss has the Honda Rancher. I reeeally like it. What do you guys think about it?

I really like honda motors, and looks like they have everything figured out as far as making maintenance easy on this thing. Anything I should look for in a 4Wheeler ATV?

Hey lem! Things are ALMOST back to normal around this place. ANYWAY - I've noticed owners of 4 wheelers are passionate about their brand, just like we are about Ford/Chevy/Dodge. I've had great luck with Kawasaki and my Prairie 700 is just bad *** but I nothing bad to say about the Rancher. You'll be fine with it. Any advice would be to shop around. Pick a price range, size and features you want and compare ALL the manufactures. Order brochures on line, go to the dealer and sit on 'em, fire 'em up, kick the tires. Even though I wanted to stay with Kawasaki when I was shopping for my last one I gave all the brands the benefit of the doubt and went to the dealers.
4x4 in my opinion is a must.
Get one big enough - nothing worse than a year from now wishing you had a bit more motor.
Wait for the deal, or make them throw in a winch. On a hard day of riding with my buddies, I'll use that winch 10-15 times. Mine was a special that came with one.
Decide you're use. Sport quads are a blast but functionality sucks. Utility quads like mine are awesome for speed and power but jumping and hanging tight corners.....well that's a different story.
Diff lock comes in handy when climbing rocks or trying to crawl out of a serious mud hole.
As far as IRS or straight axle - it's up to the user. Both have pro's and cons.
Good luck buddy - do your research and you'll be happy with which ever one you choose.
