hey huys i am starting a company and i am stuck i need a name i want it short and generic and i am stuck i was gonna use my last name but its taken any help would be greatly apreciated



i want it generic because i do (but not limited to)
-sandblasting
-powder coating
-pressure washing
-lawn maint
-and property management

That's not "a" company, that should be multiple companies. The last thing you'd want is to get sued and lose everything.

Consult an accountant first......just sayin

That being said- Stay away from "Enterprises" "inc(unless you are)" or other such nonsensical/general terms. You want something memorable catchy and easy to remember.

Generic is bad because you don't specialize in anything- which means you're not good at anything, just a jack of all trades, master of none. There is a limited possibility that you're good and very adept at all of them....but there are very few people that can do everything well.

Specialize, then branch out some with other companies. Don't be jimbob's landscape that does sandblasting though. Don't be jimbob's industries, because that means nothing.

See where I'm going with this (I own 2 companies, about to start a 3rd, well....the 2nd company we closed..but still have the name)

i definatly understand where you are coming from you shed alot of light on an aspect i have not even thought of. so i im thinking make 2 businesses is what you are saying (powdercoating and sandblasting) and (property management and lawn maint)
