On March 12th I am shaving my head to support a bunch of little guys that are fighting the fight with cancer. I want to help them win!
It is for the local hospital in the city that I am a police officer. It is for the hospital that took so great of care for me when I was a wee little lad.

Please click the link, donate a couple bucks, and pay them to shave my head so that someday, no kids will have to fight this battle!

Wish I could help, but funds just got tied up on my hubs then I saw this.

But anyway, My son is done with his treatments since 7-5-06! He had a brain tumor called medulloblastoma. He is fine now and being a wild 5 y\o! but we all dread MRI's.

I think this is a worthy cause. It was not fun watching all the kids going threw all the treatments. My son was at Cincinnati Children's Hospital after his relapse.

I always found it fun to shave my head. Other parents on on hte cancer floor, asked if I was some radical rasist. My responce was no, and I told them I shaved my head to look like my son and other children on the floor. When we where in the hospital, there was about 5 fathers and 2 mothers with shaved heads!!!!

St. Baldrick's is a great charity! My dorm started doing St. Baldrick's Day for our campus last year and it was supposed to be an annual event but it looks like we're going to have to cancel it this year.
