Got Pulled Over
But I didn't get a ticket.
I was leaving Safeway this morning and had to get on the fat girl pretty hard to jump into the gap in traffic. Needless to say she was puffing pretty good at first. Unfortunately the car that I jumped in front of was a Sheriff. He hit the red and blues and I pulled over into the next parking lot wondering what the hell I did wrong. When he walked up I asked and he informed me it was for excessive smoke. I went into a song and dance about engine problems and the truck acting funny (for all of our LEO's I know I was lying). I guess the fact that I was respectful and polite was enough to let me go without even a written warning. From now on I have to be a good boy driving around town and be easy on the skinny pedal for a little while. Just thought I would share. |

You got lucky, being in the Navy had nothing to do with you getting out with only a verbal lecture I am sure of it.

I am surprised that he didn't ticket me because I am in the Navy.
