Unemployed.....

But not anymore!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Got a job at Staples....you know, office supply store....not paying near what I was making before, but It's a job, and something I can build into a career, and the pay is enough to keep me and the fam going. I am thouroughly excited......been looking for three months, real unemployment here is about 17% locally........so I am thankful to be employed again. Be nice to be back in the black again.......this red ink is drowning me and my family!!!

Congratulations. Even if it is temporary, take your awesome attitude in there and win.
Show your desire to advance.

Congrats buddy! Nice to hear. I have a pile of friends that are looking for work too. I consider myself so fortunate that I have stayed employed. Would have lost everything if not.

Again Congrats

I'm hoping to make a career out of it, I'm soon to be 31, I've spent too much time at "jobs" that I can't go anywhere with, I'm hoping I can apply myself and do a good job and secure a financial future for my fam

Thank you! I know how your friends feel, it's brutal out there. I'd come home after hitting the pavement for a day so mad and angry, and certainly depressed. Alot of the places around here actually have signs in their windows or sites saying "we are not hiring" because they get asked so much. It's frustrating......
