One Second After

Just finished this book, and it was an awesome look into what might happen to our society if an EMP (nuclear bomb detonated above the US) was to be set off by terrorists or countries that hate us (there are many). You won't be able to put this one down, I read the 350 pages in a week, and I'm a slow reader

kite runner ....is extremely hard to explain but i couldnt put it down and i dont really like reading hahaha

its about a rich afghani who, during the 80's, comes to America....his past catches up to him...he has to go back to afghanistan to rescue a boy (just before 9-11)....it has to do with honor and lies ....its a very good very good book....he (Khaled hosseni) says its fiction but its so detailed and graphic to not be real.....how he describes, at one pont, getting beat up, the pain the sound, etc is to real.....i cant describe it much without ruining it or making it sound like a weird book

i highly recommend it!!

generation kill is a reporters tale of what happened when we invaded iraq, he was embedded with 1st recon marines.....its a good book

It's on my list of reads next time I get to America and a book store. I swear, nobody in this berg reads or knows how.
