So pissed about school

So I go to WSU and the semester starts on monday January 4th. It is our schools policy to never release financial aid funds more than 10 days before the start of the semester. The problems start with Thursday December 24th being 10 days before the semester starts; no one is in the office. The next day is Christmas, then Saturday and Sunday. So today is the first day they are back in the office. My account still shows nothing. So I call them up and asked what was going on. The girl on the phone, I know she was innocent in the matter, got an ear full from me when she let me know that all that was done today was start totaling the money; they wont actually start releasing money to where I can use it until Wednesday at the earliest, but she thought Friday would be more likely. Next problem is that Friday is also a holiday. Then the bookstore is going to be closed Saturday and Sunday. THERE IS NO WAY I WILL HAVE MONEY TO GET BOOKS BY MONDAY BEFORE CLASSES AT 7:30!

Sounds like CPCC. No one knows anything in the finacial aid office.
Our book store is contracted out.....they work when they want to. I figure a book store should be open throughout the semister....they may be open 2 days before the start and 2 days into the semister. If they run out of a book and have to reorder...guess who gets to pay for the xtra shipping....BS! They know how many books to order....

wow, at least WSU isn't quite that bad. We have a bookstore that is open all the time, with the exception of when you need it and the days following a holiday.

I usually buy my books online or at a company called Beat the Bookstore, but if I don't get the aid that ain't gonna happen.
