Toys for Tots (Pics)

The last two years, my wife Lisa has been organizing a Toys for Tots drive
for the elementary school where she works. The local Marine reserve unit
has "retaliated" by donating enough toys for each student at her school
to have one for Christmas.

Both my boys are Marines. Last year my youngest boy was home for
Christmas, and helped out at the school when the toys were collected
and presented to the kids.
This year, both my boys were home (the youngest was getting married,
and the oldest came home to be Best Man). They both helped out at
the school this year. I have a few photos below for any who are interested ...

Santa's Sleigh ...

My wife Lisa giving the Marines their "Marching Orders"

Kids picking their toys ...

Picking over the bones ...

My two boys giving out toys at a local pre-K daycare ...

Mom and her boys ...

The boys really enjoyed helping out. It gave them a good feeling to know
that the kids would have at least a few toys for Christmas.

I went to 2 car shows in the North Atlanta area this year that were "Toys for Tots" shows, while attendance at the one seemed to be down, they said that the donations were up.

I took the Pete and trailer to both shows.

Awesome post, Russ! The Arizona Powerstroke Group (APG) have participated for the past 3 years in a Toys for Tots drive and I find it so fulfilling to help a child enjoy the spirit of Christmas. Thanks for sharing your pics with us!
