Road Trip Question..
So this maybe a little random but... I'm moving back home and I was wondering if anyone has taken any of these routes I found two possible routes I can take. Here is what I'm thinking... I live in Ca and I'm moving back to Louisiana if I mapquest it I get the I-5 to boring *** I-10 2049 miles.. But if I route myself to Shreveport I get I-5 to I-40 then I-20 witch I have never been and its 1804 miles then down south where I live would be another 300ish makin it a total of 2041 miles... I've made two trips from La to Ca on that I-10 route and I hit a ton of major cities and it seems this other route I found I will only hit Dallas... I guess my question is has anyone been on I-40 and I-20 and what could I expect. I wont need hotel info or anything I will be driving non-stop only stopping for food n gas. Thanx any info is helpful :]

better recheck your route there because I40 and I20 never meet each other and depending on where you are going in louisiana you could run I10 for a then I20 and once in shrevport you could hop on I49 and head south but I20 not much better road im a truck driver. Run these roads often so they are pretty much the same hope that helps you.

And I'm going to south Louisiana Lafayette area and I think it may be better to miss the Grapevine and LA in Ca... Last edited by Diesel Nick; 12-27-2009 at 02:54 PM. |
