Talking We added to our family!

The following pictures are of Kansas..............a Great Pyrenees who is 1 1/2 years old. He currently weighs a little over 120# and is thin because he was neglected. We got him from a Vet who needed a home for the big guy. We checked to see how he was with other dogs, our kids, and us...............true to their name sakes he is a gentle giant.

Other than the neglect (malnourishment) he is doing fine. Does not appear to have been physically abused as he has a great personality and disposition. He got the name Kansas because that is where he was found.

Introducing Kansas:

Craig

Hey Craig,
I've had 3 of the Pyrenees. Love the breed. They're very territorial, and
absolute HELL on coyotes. Not so gentle when protecting their property
or their herds. Great dogs.

Hey Russ! Our current dogs are Pyrenees / Border collie mix and have been great dogs. After seeing how good these two dogs have been we decided if the opportunity came along we'd get a pure bred.

I know that there is a decent sized Pyrenees rescue operation in Dallas. Could that be what you are talking about?

Merry Christmas everyone.
