Really tough day.

Well today I responded to a VSA call, little did I know we were going to roll up at my Uncle's house. His son (my cousin) had found him in the snow, he had been there for awhile. I helped work on him in the Ambulance but he didn't pull through. Talk about a kick in the face for my First Med call..

Anyways maybe a few prayers from you guys to some of my family? I know this will be hard on my cousin (and his mom and sisters) who is the same age as me - he lost his dad a few months ago, and now his dad's dad. Real tragic...

Anyways been pretty depressed all day, this really sucks right before Christmas too... but people, please appreciate family. You never know when they'll just be...gone

I know it sucks, after eight years on the fire dept. I have some pretty messed up stuff. Just remember the good times when you help someone and never take things for granted.

Im really sorry for your loss bud. I can't even imagine, nor will I ever. I hope you stay strong for the family, sometimes they'll need a shoulder. keep your head up bud, my prayers are with you and yours this holiday season. Im very sorry for your loss.

just remember to really cherish those times when you help someone. the negative times are far outweighed in this world by positive, sometimes it's just too minute for us to see it. I lost my cousin when I was 14( she was 16 ) in a deadly car accident, and at that time I realized that sometimes god has a higher meaning for some of his younger angels.
