The wife almost got wrecked

We live just off of a major road in our town that has a suicide lane in it. Not that it really matters but the name of the road is Silverdale way and the speed limit is 45. Most people go 50 where we live because there is zero police presence on this section of the road. Recently we have had a lot of cars jumping into the suicide lane way early to turn into the road just above ours. The road that they are turning into is Spirit Ridge, the road where they are jumping into the turn lane is Estrellita. Our road is between the two.

Well tonight the wife was coming home from work and all was well. She jumped into the turn lane like normal just after Spirit Ridge to turn into our road. She sees a SUV jump into the turn lane before Estrellita and accelerate. She laid on the horn and luckily the azzhat stopped about a foot from plowing into the front of her car. The only description she could give me is that it was an SUV with square headlights. She was think escalade or something like that. If that rig would have hit her head on it would not have been good and I would have probably been the first person there. Which really would have been bad for the person driving the SUV.

Yeah so am! This is maybe the second or third time this has happened to here. They just don't respect the Focus.

Yeah after I would have gotten the ambulance called I would have yanked the driver out of the Sport Ute and would have beat them down. The three most important things to me are the wife and my girls.

hey glad she is good. my sister and her boy friend had that happen to them today with a focus and a Honda something and they did hit had on all 4 air bags went off and the both have cuts and black and blue but the focus looks to be a goner haha but there home as of 10:00 est hope that don't happen to no one

glad that she is ok, ive had quite a few bad expeirences with this lane as well, i dont know who thought they were a good idea but i see absolutely no reason for them at all, put 2 lanes on each side of the road
