Kansas, the state
How does anyone live there. Recently we drove from Central Ca to St louis Mo. pretty great drive. ive got a ton of pics that none of you probably care to see so i will save those. but drove through Nevada, arizona, utah and colorado the first day. 16hrs straight for me. wouldnt let anyone else drive. stopped in Denver for the night. missed the rockies but did drink a Coors banquet while looking at the rockies, so thats a plus
the best part of kansas was crossing into MO. When Dorthy said "were not in kansas anymore" she wasnt kidding. its a big deal. anyway, just a little story. After eating St louis ribs, i cant eat st ribs out here in CA. anyway had a great time and flew home. wanna move out there now. after leaving Ca it was really hard to return.

Easy now, some of my fondest memories were from spending my summers up there as a kiddo. We would like to relocate up there in the next year or so.
The deer, pheasant, duck, and geese are plentiful...............trust me. Craig |

hehe craig. the one thing i can tell you is that Kansas people are either REALLY horny, or they really love jesus. every mile or so, porno store billboard followed imeadatly(sp) by a jesus saves billboard. really made me laugh while driving through. you know craig, for a major interstate running through kansas( which is all we saw) there wasnt anything on the I-70 in kansas. im sure kansas has alot to offer and its gotta be a great place to live

Where in St. Louis is so great?
They have great BBQ in KC also. I live just south of STL and work a lot in KC metro and I'd rather live over there, lot more open and laid back kind of lifestyle. I guess you saw a different drive along 70 than I see the only thing between KC and STL is Columbia which is two hours from either. Send me what ever pictures you have of MO maybe I missed something. ![]() If your a hunter it's roughly a two hour drive to any decent land to hunt and rifle season is full of the orange army chasing ditch goats. Now if your a duck hunter you'd do better on the Kansas side of MO or in Kansas itself. Very few opportunities at ducks unless you spend $5k on a lease or like to gamble on the Mississippi. |
