I have a couple questions

Im looking into a career in law inforcement, I was just wondering how long the police academy program is. and my excuse for posting this at 600 in the morning is my dog was barking outside and my mom thought that there was somebody outside so I stayed up so she could get some sleep.

That depends (and varies greatly) as to which department, state, city, county, agency you decide to go with. I have seen 3 month academies and I have heard of 18 month courses. It all depends...........

Maybe, but for some reason something in my head is telling me that you need to be a US Citizen? I know that's true for most Federal Agencies but not sure for local PD's?

Yeah i don't have any great preferences as to which state i want to work in as i don't know anyone in the US so where ever i go i will be starting from fresh. I have tried to find if it is possible for foreigners to work in the Police (was kinda hoping they would help me with citizenship!)
Copenhagen if you know any other way to find out on your comp that would be awsome!
Thanks
Geoff
