Oklahoma Snake

I found this big SOB in the chicken coop a couple of days ago. I have gone all through www.oklahomasnakes.org and could not find it so I sent them these same pics and they are still looking for it but dont think it should be here. It is a good sized one, it ate one of my chickens, thats what the lump is. I let it go out on the back of the ranch but I wondered if you all have seen a snake that looks like this!

We had one almost identical to that one around here last year and everyone speculated that it was a corn snake. Never did get it confirmed though. His belly looked like a checker board.

I kicked a chunk of plywood out of the way and almost stepped right on him. If my working partner hadn't of pulled my away, I would have been bit. He was drawn up and ready to strike.

looks like a good ole rat snake to me. to bad he got one of your chickens though. were having problems with the coons up here. little bassturds are chewing threw chicken wire to get at them. so far ive shot about 6 of them. havent seen any for last couple of nights so they either figured out i was out waiting for them or finally they got the hint to stay away.
