High Tech Guru's
How do I hook my lap top to my home stereo. That way I can play the music on my lap top through my home stereo. What is needed to do this.
I have seen dj's at parties do this. I have a pig roast to go to at my buddies house. He is wanting me to bring my stereo. But I don't feel like taking 1,000 cd's with me. So I figured if I put the cd's on my lap top. I can just take that. With the stereo. |

If the stereo has a headphone jack(like for an ipod) you can use that

There is a cable that is a headphone Jack on one end an RCA jacks on the other end, that's what ya need

That's the set up I have too with a 20' head phone extension cable so I don't have to have the computer right next to the stereo. There are wireless systems also but you will spend a lot more.
