New toy?

Thinking about maybe taking a look at a new daily driver so I can save some miles and some $$$$ on fuel. Don't laugh to much.



Its cheap. ($900 obo) and is my favorite fuel.... Diesel! It just looks like something I can drive. Its a 84 Tempo with a 2.0 and 5 spd.They claim they get 30 city and 45 hi-way. Anyone ever have one?

Thats awesome! That bumper is massive for that thing. If you are looking for cheap transportation there she is.

Pretty soon you will be on here asking what size turbo, how to turn up the pump, ect... I'm sure its slow.

The Mustang wheels and brushguard add 75 hp and 100 torques.

just your basic stuff. mazda engine, 52hp, ect . Nothing about sqeezing some more hp and tq out of them.

This powertrain is close related to the Mazda petrol FE engine sharing the same bell housing patterns and other block fixtures and dimensions.

Used also in the 1984-1986 Ford Tempo - Mercury Topaz, the 1984-1987 Ford Escort - Mercury Lynx and pre-2001 turbo diesel Suzuki Grand Vitara
Used in the Mazda Bongo and 1999 Mazda Demio
