I have wanted a set of flares since I got my truck painted a few months ago.. The new wheel and tire combo sticks out and it throws mud stones etc.. Well I was working on a deal for a set here and I had not heard back in a couple weeks from him.. I was telling the wife I'm just gonna order a new set before I have no paint left on my fenders..

I come home Tuesday night after work to a brand new set of flares sitting on my kitchen table. She was browsing kijiji (same as craigs list here in Canada) and found a set for $325 she called the guy found out what kind they were ended up buying them for $275.. the guy bought them for his truck and never put them on they were still in the box!! box was never even opened

they were camo but the wife emailed the manufacturer (Stampede) before picking them up and asked if their camo wheel flares were paint-able..

gotta love her, they told her they just need to be scuffed, primed then paint as normal with automotive type paint..

the body shop sanded, primed then painted them silver yesterday ..

i may put them on this weekend if I have time
