Is it even possible?

I was out doin some dirt bike ridin' today and ended up crashing really hard. I was zippin along about 40 or 50 when I got the death wobble in my bars. I got it under control but started sliding sideways, thats when the .

I got thrown off the bike and think I ended up trying to fold myself in half; don't really remember the crash. The fall knocked the wind outta me really bad and when I regained my breath, my abdomen still hurt like the dickens.

Two or three hours later and a couple tylenol, it still hurts purty bad.

So my question is, is it possible to bruise an organ? I couldn't find any info online and thought you guys might know.

Yeah, I'm trying to decide if I should or not. It don't hurt that bad tho, just a slight nagging pain.

I'd get it checked out if your in question, I've had some good spills on my dirt bike and atv. What I learnt is is your hurt and don't go at say 7pm? You might wind up there at 3:30am doubled over in pain Just my experience

I don't think its that. The symptoms for that are light headness, dizziness, confusion, and fainting. I feel fine except for the pain.

I wouldn't begin to diagnose anyone, I'd leave that up to the RN's and EMT's but u will know if you have to go, especially don't hesitate if u have insurance

I've heard of bruised lungs, and a concussion is basically a bruised brain I believe. So I would say, yes. I'd get it checked out. Better safe than sorry.
