The most pulling our tractors really do is pulling eachother out of the woods when the break, out of the mud when we get stuck and once and a while we put a strap between them and have a little tug-o-war.
Glad to see there is another "tractor" guy on here, hahahahah
Wow, I thought we were the only ones...lol When I was a kid I had an old Murray that I put tire chains on and ripped the mowing deck off of. Pretty soon the whole neighborhood caught on and every derelict riding mower was in one of my friend's back yards getting fixed up. We used to do "swamp buggy" races through a boggy area behind my house. Good times-wish I had pictures.

Well I don't use it for sled pulling but staying true to the diesel way of life ... I have a Kabota G5000 HST. I took the deck off and use it to pull cars, trucks, trailers and grand-kids around. I was really surprised at the pulling power this thing has. I am fixing to rig it for a snow plow I just acquired, just in case we do get some of the white stuff round here this year!!

When i was 15 my best friends dad got us a 3 cylinder diesel refridge motor off of a old semi trailer. We had the motor sent off for some machine work and got it back together. Had an old case lawnmower we beefed to handle the power. Then we ran out of money and had to sell it. We made a decent amount of money off of it. I wish I took some pics, never got a chance to pull it.

those are the coolest.. we have a mini pullers association here too .. they mix it up at events they have the different classes of tractors, then they let guys pull with quads/atv's too...LOL .. I did it a few years ago it was awesome I took a 2nd place with my Honda 4x4 quad in the 500cc class even though mine was a 450 since it wasn't stock I got put up a class.. I think I even have pics of it pulling the sled...

stock 18 hp Craftsman with blade and tire chains to handle our side hill 4 acres. Pulls brush, pushes brush, chops stuff and trying to get a mini logging arch built to pull small logs.
Watched lawn mower races at Stayton- - really go fer it, looks fun.
