We run a set of ITP Mudlite XTRs on our Brute Force 650. I personally love this tire. Its got a deep enough lug to go through anything I need yet have a great pattern that wont beat you or your machine to death on the trail when it gets hard-packed. They are also radials so they help the handling and are pretty tough and durable.

I have Good Year Rawhide on mine and they have been great in the mud, sand and grass. We also have lots of thorns-thorny locust.

Maxxis Bighorns are the best all around tires from what i have heard. I had a set of mudlites i hated them but of course i do a lot of riding in the mud.

Being an ATV dealer we put on either maxxis bighorns or the ITP mud lite xtr's on most ATV's and UTV's for a good all around tire. You won't be disappointed with either of these
