Just did it!!!

I just bought my season pass for the 2009 Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area!!!! I'm so stoked, since this means that it is almost DUNE SEASON!!! I can't wait to get back out there. Just make sure to get your pass here BEFORE you go or it will be more expensive.

Maybe I'll see you out there some time. When you say Imperial are you at North Glamis or near interstate 8?

We go to Gordon's... It's closer coming from Phoenix.

Fly out, Eric and you can stay with me. We'll ride the whole flippin' weekend. Dude, you WILL be sore, trust me on that. My back and quads usually wear out about the same time, but it is definitely worth it.

One of these days I might just have to take you up on that. Just won't be in the 2009 season!!

I was out on my work quad today, took a trail ride around the park for a hour or so. Nice day for it, sunny and low 70s.

Ever go to Ocotillo Wells? I'm there almost every weekend. Last year only missed 3 weekends from October to April.

Get dirtbikes (2 Wheels) they won't wear you out like those dune couches do.

I've never been. I would assume it is closer to you, though. It's already a 5 hour trip, so probably might not make it unless we had some sort of G2G. My son has a KLX 110, but I'd probably break my neck on that out in the sand...

3 hours from my house but were on windy highways 80% of the time. Glamis is 4.5 hours from home and we go the same route as Ocotillo and then hop on the 86 and thats just drive time. Don't be afraid to break your neck on a dirtbike. Quads are what is going to do you in. 90% of injuries and crashes with our group is quad related plus it's hard for a dirtbike to run you over or roll on you and they weigh 220LBS. I know what it is you don't need a kickstand for a quad. Geez you quad guys are almost as bad a women

Glamis is on my list of places to go before I die. We've got dunes here in Louisiana but NOTHING like that.
