Kurt Caselli...RIP

I have to say it was with disbelief that I heard earlier he had passed. I met the guy for the first time about 3 years ago while at Lake Havasu over spring break. We had finished out portion of the Worcs race and he had just won his. We were sitting on the front of my boat in the chanel while my buddy yelled at Kurt as he walked by. Here the guy had just won his 2ish hr race in 100* temps and not but 30 minutes later he was hanging out with us and doing a beer bong. The guy sat there and talked with me about how surreal it was to become something. Said he would run our logo and name because he supported the up and coming. Because thats what and who he was. The fact that such talent and passion is lost to so little value... As if leading the Baja 1K wasnt hard enough... let along starting it didnt come with enough difficulty... enough mental focus and toughness... he had to be the first to some f**ks booby trap. All for what, some worthless turds entertainment in the middle of the desert. I pray to god, they get what they have coming...

He will be missed, he was one of the best and made his mark in the off road community. KTM wouldn't be where they are today if it wasn't for Kurt. It seems that the whole "Booby trap" was a rumor. Under further investigation it looks like he may have hit an animal. Never the less RIp Kurt .

I saw that about the animal as well. Sucks either way but better if he went under his own will. Still cant believe this happened.
