As a side note, my yamaha ate the air filter after it had sat for a long time. It seem that it had sat long enough for the element to dry rot. Might want to check yours if you haven't.
My bike is actually stripped down and I run K&N's and they look great! But thanks for the heads up for when/if I get a 4-stroke!

Where you riding at? I went to hauser in late June, that was my first time at the coos bay dunes, got to say after going to coos bay its the best dune riding in oregon. Ive gotten pretty bored with winchester and unless you sand camp its near impossible to get a spot at florence. If I can afford the gas for the bikes and diesel to get there I'll be goin to spinreel in early september.

Florence is alot of fun, you stayin at driftwood II? Yea the shower thing is kind of lame. We just got a toy hauler last year so the shower thing is alot easier now. China Hat? you mean China Hat Rd. in Bend where all the caves are?? Went there once a long time ago, alot of trails, it was pretty fun.

No not Driftwood.... private campground.

and No not China Hat Rd.... it's actually called the East Fort Rock OHV area.... 315 miles of trails. It rocks! I do have to be careful though since I don't have a skid plate.

FYI, they are building a new campground just south of spinreel, Its called Riley Ranch. I stopped in and talked to the park ranger when I was down there and he said they should have dune access by next summer. 130 acres and 100+ camp sites. fairly nice sites too, its not parking lot camping. I think they have showers too.

you mean private as in a privately owned?? or someone you know??
I didint think there was any other campgrounds besides driftwood, lagoon, and wax myrtel - of which driftwood is the only one I know of that has dune access.

It's a private organization that owns the campground and facilities.
