My first race back (kinda long)

Well I don't know if anyone is interested but I thought I would post up some pics and a little story on my first race back this year. After a horrible last year (mono, pneumonia, broken wrist, torn groin, herniated disc, and serious concussion) I decided to start this year off fresh. Well I tried to race the first round of the AR state serious but dislocated my wrist, then found out I needed surgery on my neck soooooooo here I am just getting back into. All I had this weekend was my 250 so I only rode the 250 pro class. I got second after last place starts and working my way through the pack. Not bad, but wasn't really happy with it. So here are some pics. The first one is me on my bike, the second is my buddy Denny who got second in 450 pro, the third is me and the winner of 250 and 450 pro (one more lap and I would have had him), and the last one is a picture of me and Denny's neice who wanted a pic on my bike. All in all it was a decent weekend I just wish I would have had my 450 so I coulda took another shot at the kid on the kawisaki.

WOW! Sounds like you had a rough time there for a bit!

Glad to hear ya back on your bike and enjoying it again.

Thanks for the kind words, I am just so competitive that I hate losing LOL. But I couldn't be happy to get back to riding. I am not sure if I will race a whole lot this year just because I am having so much fun riding with my buds.

I can personally relate to everything you just said. Glad to hear you're healing up too.

You got a real nice dirt bike yourself Jonathan. You ever thought about doing some dual sporting?

Well I do a lot of differen't things, dirt track, off road, done some desert, mainly motocross and supercross, and would like to try trials. I guess I haven't done much dual sporting but would like to get an xr650 to get around on. As long as it has two wheels I will do it. I won't quit racing, but I probably should... Forgot to say thanks for the compliments on the bike, its a complete custom setup from DeCal Works out of IL.
