Gordon's Well Pics

These pics are from last weekend and I'm just getting around to posting them up. The dunes were practically empty for Easter weekend. I'm guessing fuel prices, but since there wasn't a whole lot of folks around, we rode hard the whole weekend. It was a bit warm (low 90's) with blowing sand due to gusting winds on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but then it calmed down in the afternoon both days with just enough wind to keep the temp's perfect. The sand was VERY soft and there were very few ruts from the sand rails, making for some awesome rides! Enough of my rattling on; here's the pics:

Intense bowls ahead...

Here you can see part of my wife's bike (Raptor 660)

Such cool shadows on the dunes!

Wicked transitions and look at our tracks in the sand. I told you it was soft!

My bike (Predator 500) and my backside!

This was taken from the dunes behind highway hill. There's some massive dunes back there! This one looks like its from a cartoon.

My buddy's sand rail prepping for a ride...

All in all, we had a great trip, we rode hard and nobody got hurt!

Here are a few more pics...
One of my buddy's truck and trailer

Here's his toys. (yes, that's a capital C on the side of his truck... )

Here's my other buddy's setup.

My setup

My son getting ready to ride.

From the top of Highway hill, you can see the canal and people down below

If you look closely, you can see my buddy's orange rail at the top of the hill.

Better view of the dunes (we didn't forget the camera this time!)

Dunes and mountains in the background
