Contemplating retiring my 02 Cat 500i. It's been a real workhorse, and that high ground clearance is just what I needed for my rough as a cob farm. Bought a scraper blade to push snow, and then it never snowed much, but it's great for pushing brush piles around. Hauled trailers full of firewood every weekend in the fall and winter, over some pretty rough ground. In the summer, it carries fencing tools to where they need to be, and carries two target rifles (Anschutz Match 54 and Winchester 52D) back to my range for an afternoon of hole poking.

But, after six years of hard use, it's starting to get a bit tired. I'm looking long and hard at the TRV's. Cat has been extremely durable, so I'm dancing with the one that brought me. The TRV comes with a convertible rear that can mount a seat, a rack, or a dump bed, plus it has a locking front end. I'm not sure about giving up the 500's manual tranny for that rubber band thing, I haul a lot of heavy loads, but I'll give it a try once and see how it goes.

I just sold my 2002 Kawasaki Prairie 650 to help pay off the Powerstroke. Im gunna miss it. for all of you who are arguing about riding on 2 wheels or 4 wheels, why not make it 3. I have a 1984 Honda Big Red ATC 200. Its a complete beast. I put it through hell and back (and I mean hell) for many years and it fires up on the 1st pull everytime. (electric starter switch went out)

05 450R Ride Red (Or black...)!!!

Stock sucks!

14:1 Baldwin piston
HRC cam
Nmotion Full exhaust
UNI filter
C&D racing shocks with hi-flow pistons
Houser +2 a-arms
G-force axle
Burgard beadlocks
Douglas front wheels
Kenda tires all around (depending on track conditions)
JPMX stick stabilizer
Renthal bars
Hermann racing +2 steering stem
Quadtech seat cover
Laker custom hood
Rad axle lock nut
AC racing nerfbars
AC racing blackline bumper
DG shorty grab bar

I dont remember everything on this, but there is a ton more... only reason I'm even bother to list is because everything is going up for sale including the quad!!! Quad will be mostly stock, have brand new chain and sprockets, and completely 100% fresh motor. Two new cases, new crank/rod, new cylinder, fresh piston... 100% ready to go. $3200 for the quad, and then most aftermarket parts will be sold separately...

here she is:

Action shots: Starting line:

Nice rear end! (the quad you pervs)

Wadding in the mud:

Stroker94, just an FYI, dont waste your money on any more "Heavy duty" cam chains from DID, you can buy a CRF450 (any year) cam chain, it's the exact same thing and its only about $25 from Service Honda Home of the CR500AF 500AF 500AFX Junior-X - Honda Motorcycle Parts

1995stroker

Camo plastic is notorious for cracking issues because of the process it goes through to get the camo, it causes the plastic to be brittle. I think Honda is the only one who figured out a way around it from what I've seen.
