Need help on a price quote on a 1976 chevey

ok my gfs dad has a 1976, 1/2 ton 4x4, Auto, flatbed, i beleive ist a 350. It has alot of rust and the floor board is rusted completly out. He doesnt know how many miles are on it but over 100,000. How much should i give him?

I would not give no more then 500 for it. Even at that price it has to be a solid running truck. The body is easy to repair/replace.

What engine, trans, t-case, axles are in it. That is a big factor on how much the truck is worth.

3k at most at least thats my imput, if there is no body rust maybe more.

I agree it matters whats in the truck, and how much rust it has. I do think that 500 is alittle cheap

i told him i wouldnt give more than 500 and he said it has a 800 flatbed so i told him he needs to leave it set.

ya and we just gave them a truck bed camper mounted on a 5th wheel trailer for nothin.

350's are a dime a dozen, 4spd's the same (unless its a muncie! )...4x4 and flatbed is all it has goin' for it...

I wouldn't do no more than $1250-1750 depending on the condition of the truck

In my area you would be lucky to get scrap price for something like this. The 800 dollar flatbed doesn't make the truck worth anymore then it is. It is all about the general condition of the vehicle.

He is saying the floorboards are pretty much not even there. Look at the basics 1976 1/2 ton, 4x4 flatbed, maybe a 350 ( most likely it is). Unknown mileage, hmm body is in rough shape, I think 500 is a fair take for a truck in this condition. Because it may take 1,000 to make it road worthy again.
