2012-2013 snowmobile riders
Is anyone riding any of the new sleds? I'm riding a 06 skidoo summit 800 and I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a 13 Polaris rmk pro 800

Stick with ski doo! I got a 2012 ski doo renegade with the 800 etec and it is a monster. Power and fuel mileage you cant beat. It might not be the fastest sled but i go two to three rides before i have to fill up when all my buddies are filling up pretty much every ride and we dont ride a lot of trails, mostly ditches and bush riding. Here is a pic from when i just picked it up.
![]() On a side note my renegade did beat my brother in-laws 03 polaris edge xc 800 that wasn't stock when it only had 30km on it and his sled apparently had like 165hp and weighed less |

Sweet sled Bryce. I've always loved the way the 2011-up Polaris' look but I don't think I could give up the fuel mileage my sled gets for one lol.

I ride a 2007 700 dragon RMK (which I jst sold) and my friend rides a 2013 800 PRO RMK. I always thought mine was a great preforming sled, as it was virtually side by side with the 08-10 800 Dragon RMKs and used way way less fuel (and didnt blow up!)...
He gets a new one every year, but his 13 with the belt drive spools up so quick its hands down a more fun sled. His 2012 800 PRO RMK (with chaincase) didnt spool up as quickly. I am hoping to buy his 2013, as he upgrades every year... |

that is the main reason why i bought a ski doo. when i was shopping for my sled i checked out ski doo and polaris i found two 2011 polaris switchback assaults (one the orange limited and one regular grey) with new motors in them already. the orange on had just over 400 miles and the grey one had just over 500. wasnt too sure if the 12's were any better so i didnt want to risk it.
