Johnson Valley and King of The Hammers

There is a petition in progress to keep the land in southern California known as Johnson Valley open to the public. Basically the Marines are planning on expanding their training ground which would encompass the land and closing it to public use. I have yet to make it out there to wheel, but would like to one day. I enjoy watching King of The Hammers every year on Pirate4X4 TV and DVD. This is truly a great place to wheel.
